Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship

One Young World is proud to partner with the Z Zurich Foundation to deliver scholarship and development opportunities to attend the Summit.

The Z Zurich Foundation creates brighter futures together for vulnerable people, with prevention at the forefront of their work.

Most recently, the Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship 2024 allowed 30 young leaders working across the Z Zurich foundations three pillars - adapting to climate change, improving mental wellbeing, and enabling social equity - to participate in the One Young World Summit Montréal, 2024, and become part of Z Zurich’s global delegation.

In the days following the Summit, the Z Zurich Foundation ran an additional day of programming exclusively for their group of scholars, to give them a chance to reflect post-Summit. Scholars were joined by Tareq Hadhad, CEO of Peace by Chocolate, and watched a short film about their story. Scholars engaged in a Q&A session with Meaningful Business, and took part in Leadership Development coaching.

In addition to the scholarship, the Z Zurich Foundation awards grants to extraordinary individuals within their delegation. These scholars are passionate about global issues and have demonstrated commitment to creating positive change and impact in one of the three pillars.
