Former Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and Board Champion for Diversity & Inclusion - Channel 4

Dan runs his own consultancy, helping organisations be more purpose driven. For almost a decade, he was Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer and Board Champion for Diversity & Inclusion at Channel 4. During this time the C4 brand was supercharged, especially through its record-breaking relationship with the Paralympic Movement. Spearheaded by two globally award-winning Superhumans marketing campaigns, C4 is now the world’s leading Paralympic broadcaster.

 

In EY’s National Equality Standard, the UK’s most forensic diversity audit, C4 was the first company to be placed at the top level of ‘Institutionalised Inclusion’. C4 also transformed itself as a social media video brand, climbing into the top 50 worldwide.

 

Before this, Dan was MD of TV production company Rare Day, MD of Discovery Networks UK and MD of C4’s Digital Channels.

 

In 2001, he was the Marketing Society’s Young Marketer of the Year for his role in the birth of E4. In 2018, he was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal Television Society.
