Lucy Cooper

Innovation Director

Lucy is Innovation Director at Accenture – a small team of high level experts in creating innovation practices and transformational growth agendas in business. She started her career in Accenture Strategy before leaving to Silicon Valley through Y Combinator to set up a digital fundraising platform. She then led VC activities and strategy for a communications and PR firm in London, which included everything from sourcing companies, setting up a hub for entrepreneurs and scaling ideas, before taking a Director role building a budding and high-growth London-based growth consultancy.

At Accenture, she drives client innovation using Accenture’s bespoke innovation architecture combined with our world leading consulting, strategy and technology skills. Lucy uses our assets such as Labs and Studios – taking these capabilities and shaping them with and for client-focused objectives. The outcome? To unlock growth often trapped inside organisations. Lucy’s passion at Accenture is all about driving a value-based innovation process in large enterprises, which is inextricably linked to core strategy, market perception and value captured. She is particularly interested in the mainstream commercialisation of innovation-led transformation and the leading and lagging indicators of success. Lucy has financial services expertise, although believes that and understanding of all sector dynamics are extremely useful when looking at undertaking and applying innovation.

Lucy is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers, a Huffington Post blogger and a TEDx speaker. She is also a moderator – most recently for the Cannes Lions Innovation Stage at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
