Silvia Lagnado has been Chief Marketing Officer of Bacardi Limited since June 2010 and has been its President of Bacardi Global Brands since September 2010.
Lagnado worked at Unilever for 24 years. She joined Unilever in 1986, in Brazil, after getting a degree in civil engineering. She was always interested in working in marketing and brand development, and she has worked in many different countries including Brazil, the United Kingdom, Argentina, and the United States.
She worked on the Dove toiletry brand, including campaigns such as "Campaign for Real Beauty."
Silvia Lagnado worked most recently as the global group vice president for Savoury and is responsible for marketing spirits in her new role at Bacardi.
