Financial and technological support from UNICEF’s venture fund is available for companies that can show a strong founding team and a clear path to improving the lives of children. In particular, UNICEF is looking for technology startups creating open-source solutions for children, and which are registered in one of UNICEF's 135 programme countries.
The UNICEF Innovation Fund is announcing its first investments in five start-ups - with an eye to investing in 20-40 more in 2017.
