It's official: OYW-inspired book 'How to Make a Difference' to be published by Cassell

Cassell (part of the Octopus Publishing Group) has announced the acquisition of One Young World’s definitive guide to activism from the world’s most effective leaders.

How to Make a Difference will be published in September 2019 and will feature advice and guidance from world-changing campaigners including One Young World (OYW) Counsellors author Fatima Bhutto, Live Aid founder Sir Bob Geldof, Black Lives Matter, and former RB CEO Rakesh Kapoor, who have all used their voices, their networks and their abilities to change communities, companies and countries.

It speaks to the most connected, informed and educated generation that has the ability and tools to create a better world and impact future generations.

Topics include: How to Change the Law, How to Protest, How to Use Social Media Effectively and How to End a Problem Forever and How to Change a Big Organisation, offering an extraordinary depiction of modern-day activism. One Young World’s annual Summit, founded by David Jones and Kate Robertson, convenes the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. Delegates from 190+ countries are counselled by influential political, business and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman and Meghan Markle, amongst
many other global figures.

Co-Founder, Kate Robertson and Managing Director, Ella Robertson have written How to Make a Difference to encourage and educate young leaders on how to become leaders of tomorrow.

Kate Robertson and Ella Robertson commented: “Despite everything that One Young World has achieved, exceptional young leaders are needed more than ever before.

How to Make a Difference takes its inspiration from the same urgent need that motivated us to establish One Young World – there’s leadership vacuum in the world and young leaders can take us to a better place.

This book contains insight from some of the greatest leaders making a difference today. We hope it will inspire action and progress.”

How to Make a Difference will be published by Cassell in September 2019.
