One Young World's first ever Environment Summit kicks off today

Beginning today, 400 young leaders will gather alongside experts of science, politics, the arts and business in the first of a series of specialised One Young World events as Founders Kate Robertson and David Jones kick off the event with a welcome presentation. 

Hosted by Biosphere 2 in Tucson, Arizona, the event will focus on addressing the environmental challenges the world is facing and the role young leaders can play in solving them.

Expert speakers include US Federal Chief Sustainability Officer, Christine Harada; Managing Director of WildAid, John Baker; former NASA astronaut and humanitarian, Rob Garan; Robert Swan OBE, polar explorer and UN Goodwill Ambassador for Youth, CNN meteorologist Jennifer Gray, the star of Entourage and The Devil Wears Prada and environmental campaigner Adrian Grenier; and many more. We will also hear from Delegate Speakers who are leaders in their fields on how young people can best collaborate to create change.
