Abhinav and his team at Bean Voyage have raised over $6,000 through crowdfunding to produce the film "Más que un café". The stories highlights five smallholder women coffee producers - Ericka, Tatiana, Arleen, María & Margoth - and how they are building thriving coffee businesses.

Australia

Kate Crowhurst, Coordinating Ambassador for Australia & New Zealand has been announced as one of the nominees for the 2022 ACT Australian of the Year. Kate has been nominated for the ACT Local Hero Award for her work in Financial Literacy. In 2019, Kate launched Money Bites, a financial literacy platform that makes learning about money more accessible to young people.

Patu's organisation, CLSV Foundation, has launched their flagship project “Game Changers”. The goal is to mobilise 1 million commitments from non-state actors to take concrete steps to minimise their carbon footprint.

Ariel's organization, the Good Data Initiative, is launching their latest report this upcoming week on the challenges and importance of creating open access collaborations to oceanic data given its importance for both biodiversity and climate change mitigation efforts. The report features original research, analysis and recommendations, that identify the importance of mobilising inter-sectoral collaboration and providing open access.

Dungrila has launched a campaign to fight malnutrition and hunger in the West Region of Cameroon. His mission is to planting 500 Kitchen Gardens for 500 malnourished households and providing Education in Adequate Nutrition and Balance diet. The ampaign is aiming to raise $45,000 in less than 20 days through the GlobalGiving Accelerator Program.

Kurba, Coordinating Ambassador for the Caribbean spoke at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Youth Forum. She was a moderator for the "Member States Dialogue" session. The UNCTAD was established to promote trade, investment and development in developing countries.
