STEM Academy focuses on developing and fostering digital and technological skills in young people, creating an environment to make them interested in STEM careers.STEM Academy students represent their country by having one of the two national robotics teams competing in the first Robotics Competition in the United States, and the only one from Chile formed by public school students. She designed and implemented a coding program with the Ministry of Education, which was recognised by the President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet. Belen was selected as one of the 100 Young Leaders of Chile in 2015, and in 2017 she was named "A woman who leaves a mark".
