Yunus & Youth was co-founded in November 2013 by Cecilia and Professor Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Laureate and One Young World Counsellor. Their aim is to train, equip and connect young social entrepreneurs with the expertise, resources and opportunities needed to maximise their impact. Already present in five continents, Yunus & Youth pairs budding social entrepreneurs with established business people, politicians and academics who share their skills and knowledge to support the mentees’ social business development. Yunus & Youth has reached 600 social entrepreneurs in 16 countries through events, workshops and a 6 month structured mentoring programme.
