Migan is the founder of TeachSurfing, an NGO that matches socially conscious travelers with educational initiatives around the world. She was inspired to launch the TeachSurfing project at the One Young World Summit in 2012, where she was part of a delegation of employees from SAP, a leading software development company.
TeachSurfing gives schools in developing countries access to a global pool of talented and motivated teachers. The NGO works with 85 education providers spread across 104 countries.
The technology to create the TeachSurfing community was developed in consultation with One Young World Ambassadors globally and was officially launched at the One Young World Summit 2013 in Johannesburg.
