Shazeeb founded SBYA Global in 2013 with the help of One Young World Counsellor Muhammad Yunus. More than 3,000 people have been trained by SBYA's programmes.
In particular, SYBA's Launchpad programme has empowered 7 Social Businesses with Award, Mentorship, Network and Access to Investors.
Apart from these, SBYA has its own social businesses ranging from engaging photo entrepreneurs and community journalists to selling Bangladeshi handicafts overseas and ensuring better working conditions.
SBYA’s annual competition, The Social Business Champ, attracts close to 1000 applications per year across 17 different countries. Winners are selected by Professor Muhammad Yunus and receive funding from the Grameen Telecom Trust in Bangladesh.
Founded in Bangladesh, SBYA has expanded throughout Asia and Africa with 5 Country Teams currently represented.
