Yerner works with universities to help private companies to reduce emissions and start saving energy and money. He helps the Association of Renewable Energy Sources and the Energy Efficiency Institute to defend their position on the transition to green energy and he regularly speaks about environmental issues at public events. Yerner works with industrial enterprises to help them reduce their emissions, and his efforts have lead to 18 companies reducing their air pollution by an average of 15%. He also advises the Kazakhstan government on national energy and environmental policy.
