About the program

OneTech Virtual Founders Weekend is designed to help you form teams, build networks and launch your very own start-up. We’re bringing you a FULLY VIRTUAL weekend of networking, business modelling, pitching and expert mentoring which means you can participate in the program from wherever you are (even if you're in a lockdown).

The program is designed for you if you’re 18-24 and living/working in London. You will be mentored by the best experts leading your team to success, create your very own network of changemakers and meet and work with your future colleagues, co-founders, friends.

You’ll have the opportunity to shine in front of industry leaders by presenting your project on our virtual pitch day and walk away with the grand prize – a brand new Apple MacBook Pro!

OneTech Founders Weekend is powered by Foundervine - an award-winning social enterprise founded by OYW Ambassador Izzy Obeng helping entrepreneurs grow. Winning teams will then be accepted onto the FoundersDoor program powered by YSYS which will further empower you to take the business to the next level.

How to register

Registration is now open and closes on Wednesday 15th April. To apply for the program, please fill out this form and you will soon receive joining instructions with all the details on what to expect and the resources you need to be ready to go on the day of the event.

Please note that the program will be delivered fully virtually. You will therefore need:

  • A laptop with a webcam so you can take part in sessions

  • A good internet connection

  • Lots of energy! (and snacks)

The programme worth £250 per participant is **COMPLETELY FREE TO JOIN** thanks to funding from the Mayor of London. You’ll pitch your own idea or listen to others, then vote on the most interesting ideas and form teams with diverse skill sets. You can join alone or with friends to form a team. All start-up ideas that involve some element of using digital tech in some way are welcome. For those who haven’t used remote collaboration tools before, no need to worry, we will have support all throughout the weekend who can ask for assistance.
