Ashwin Willemse’s personal life story has been an inspiration to many. He has been able to achieve great success against global success as an international rugby player. The former Springbok now shares his vast rugby knowledge and all odds with his rugby achievements nothing short of amazing. From humble beginnings, he managed to reach insight on SuperSport as a commentator and analyst. With his success as an entrepreneur, Ashwin is considered an all-rounder in the game of life, rugby and business.

Ashwin was awarded Player of the Year, Most Promising Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year in 2003.

In 2001 Willemse played for South Africa in the under-21 Rugby World Cup.
