Naina is the Deputy International Editor of TIME Magazine. She is responsible for commissioning, editing and publishing international content for TIME magazine and TIME.com, with particular emphasis on the Middle East.

Naima is also a contributing editor to the Fuller Project for International Reporting, commissioning and editing reported new stories and features that highlight issues affect women, particular in conflict zones. She also writes op-eds in major publications in which she focused on the crucial role women need to play in security policies and peace processes worldwide.

Previous positions held by Naima include the Executive Editor of Newsweek in which she oversaw the magazine and website of Newsweek international.
