To mark World Refugee day on 20th June, One Young World will host a private viewing of artwork and portraits by the young artist and One Young World Ambassador, Hannah Rose Thomas, undertaken during her time in Za’atari and Calais refugee camps over the last three years.
WHEN: Monday 20th June, 6-9pm, to mark World Refugee Day
WHERE: The Crypt Gallery, St Pancras Church, London, NW1 2BA
The exhibition illuminates the human faces and striking individual stories that are so often forgotten and shrouded by statistics during this global crisis and tense political climate.
An Ambassador for One Young World, Hannah has sold her paintings and received commissions for six years, to support her humanitarian work. Last year, she was long-listed in the BP Portrait Award for her portrait of Sir Trevor Nunn.
