Free The Wild Logo Competition

In 2016, multi award winning singer and actress Cher, joined the One Young World Summit in Ottawa and was blown away by the work of young leaders participating were doing to change the world.

Now Cher is returning to the One Young World Summit to share her vision for change, a world where wild animals are free to live in their natural habitat and a world where animals are free from cruelty.

To make this vision a reality Cher has created Free The Wild the world’s first dedicated online platform that aggregates and amplifies global efforts for animal welfare. Free The Wild leverages Cher’s incredible network to shine a light on vital animal welfare initiatives and raises funds to support them.

Cher needs your help on this journey! Free The Wild is looking for a new logo and they want your ideas and designs to define the identity of this amazing movement.

The selected logo will be featured on the Free The Wild website, social media and other campaign material.

What kind of logo should you make?

The logo should embody and promote the mission of Free the Wild:

“FTW endeavours to stop the suffering of wild animals in captivity and ultimately find a way to release them into sanctuaries or better equipped zoos. Also assisting with the betterment of existing zoos and empowering its staff to care for and protect the animals in their care. We aim to provide education and support in terms of professional carers, handlers and vets and to introduce augmented and virtual reality into establishments as a replacement of some species whereby ultimately eliminating animal trafficking.”

Besides having their design help drive the movement, the designer of the selected logo will win a sponsored place to the One Young World 2018 in The Hague. The sponsored place includes:

  • Return transport to the Summit.
  • Catering for the duration of the Summit.

To enter the competition just submit your logo design to [email protected] by 6 November.

Submissions can be sent as a high resolution .pdf, .jpg or png with a resolution of 300dpi or higher.
