Leaders to Leaders | Hong Kong, 25 - 29 July

For the second year in a row, The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) invites you to join their Leaders to Leaders 2018 programme taking place in Hong Kong this summer. Leaders to Leaders connects global young leaders with local leaders to exchange ideas and experiences to create positive social impact locally and globally.

About Leaders to Leaders

Leaders to Leaders is a programme under the HKFYG Jockey Club School of Global Leadership which aims at connecting global young leaders with Hong Kong young leaders. Each year, 9-12 Global Leaders recognised by World Bank, United Nations, One Young Word, Forbes 30 under 30, Global Shapers and other well-known international institutes will be invited to provide face-to-face training and cocreation project for young leaders in Hong Kong. Outstanding participants will be awarded Overseas Apprenticeship with sponsorship for flight and accommodation, following the Global Leaders back to their country for around 1 month to execute their social project

What is on the agenda?

The key focus areas will be health technology, renewable energy, entrepreneurship education, community engagement and humanitarian relief.

Throughout the days of Leaders to Leaders, there are several talks which OYW Ambassadors can exclusively register for. 

The programme will be joined and led by 5 global leaders from different countries to share their knowledge and experience: 

  • Chebet Lesan. Founder of BrightGreen Renewable Energy & OYW Ambassador from Kenya
  • Karen Carvajalino. Co-Founder and COO of The Biz Nation & OYW Ambassador from Colombia
  • Taffan Ako Sharif. Founder of EmpowHERment & OYW Ambassador from Sweden 
  • Gavin Armstrong. Founder and CEO of Lucky Iron Fish Enterprise 
  • Anny Chang. Co-Founder and CEO of International City Wanderer Education Association
