"i am a migrant" is a global campaign to fight anti-migrant prejudice. The campaign aims to give migration a human face through personal stories of courage and hope- stories that not only outline the hardships of migration, but also the successes.
By sharing your personal story, you will help promote our partner, the International Organisation for Migration, and their campaign against racism.
Amir Ashour, One Young World Ambassador and Founder of IraQueer has shared his story of leaving Iraq for Sweden:
"Home for me is where I can be who I am and pursue the plans and the goals I have without fearing for my life."
You can read Amir's full story here.
If you have a story of migration that you would like to share, please contact Mara Silvestri from our community team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
