What does the scholarship include?
Marmalade Fish will sponsor one successful applicant to participate in the One Young World Summit 2016 which takes place in Ottawa, Canada from 28 September - 1 October. This sponsorship will pay for:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2016 in Ottawa, Canada.
- Hotel accommodation on a shared basis between 28 September and 1 October
- Catering which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue.
- Summit hand-outs and support materials.
- The cost of travel to and from Ottawa.
Who can apply?
In order to apply you must be:
- Aged 18 - 30
Successful candidates will excel in the following areas:
- Proven leadership ability
- Experience in business
- Understanding of ethics, values, culture
- Awareness of how business can play a leading role in shaping government policy
How to apply
Submit an online application in English before midnight (BST) on 25 June. The scholarship winners will be announced on 30 June 2016.
If you already have a One Young World profile you need to answer an additional question to apply for the Marmalade Fish Scholarship. If you do not have a One Young World profile you need to create one. If you are creating a new profile you must select 'Attend on Scholarship' in the 'How you want to attend the Summit' dropdown menu, you must then select 'Marmalade Fish Scholarship' in the 'Scholarship type' dropdown menu.
