Saturday 30 June |  Facebook London

Registration is now full. Please contact the organiser with any questions: [email protected]

About the Hack

We're pleased to invite you to our first ever Social Impact Hack in collaboration with Facebook! We're bringing together young leaders to ideate and collaborate on innovative solutions to tackle one of 3 topics in a competitive & inspiring setting.

Be prepared to pitch your idea at the end of the day to a number of judges! You could leave with a project idea you can continue leading beyond the hack. No prize will be awarded to winners - but winners will receive support from OYW to further develop the solution with the overall aim of implementation.

No coding experience necessary. We're looking for socially conscious individuals with different interdisciplinary backgrounds and skills to work as a team and come up with a solution. There will be a number of mentors on the day on hand to help.

Catering will be provided by Facebook.

The Social Hack Themes:

As a team, come up with a creative social impact solution that helps tackle one of the areas listed below. There is no limit to the solution - this can be anything! Whether its an app, a service, a campaign, an initiative, a business model, a product invention. An added bonus is if the outcome can be delivered via one of Facebook's several products.

The deliverable: a thought through social impact solution that the team can present within a 3 minute pitch to the Jury.
