Preparing Delegates for the Summit
We, the One Young World (OYW) team, are counting down the days until the OYW Summit Belfast, 2023, taking place from 2-5 October!
For young leaders like yourselves, the Summit represents the landmark event of the year. It is the place for young leaders from every country and every sector to solve global challenges to build a fair and sustainable world. The Summit offers the ultimate chance to be inspired, share learnings, connect and collaborate to raise the bar for what it is possible to achieve as leaders, individually and collectively.
Every month leading up to the Summit, we will be bringing Delegates together to equip them with the knowledge, advice and informal connections that will enable them to maximise their time throughout the Summit in Belfast, 2023 and beyond as you join the Ambassador Community.
General information on sessions:
- Each session will be 1 hour long, and will be held twice on the day to accommodate multiple time zones so that our global Ambassadors can attend.
- Sessions will always take place at 09:00 BST and 17:00 pm BST.
- If you miss a session, don't worry. We will post recordings on this page after each session.

Session 1: Meet One Young World
Thursday 11 May
Welcome & congratulations on being selected as a Delegate! We are incredibly excited to welcome you to the OYW Summit Belfast, 2023, where nearly 2,000 young leaders from every country and every sector will convene for four inspiring, energising and memorable days.
In this first session, we will introduce you to One Young World, the Summit experience, and what the other 361 days of the year look like for us. We’ll hear from OYW’s Co-Founder Kate Robertson as well as other members of the OYW family.
All of our sessions are designed so you can connect with as many fellow Delegates as possible - we are excited for you all to meet each other.
