The Plenary Sessions are the Summit’s main sessions. They are a series of six two-hour meetings attended by all delegates and Ambassadors to discuss pressing global issues.
The Plenary Sessions are the foundation on which all content at the Summit is built. Each Plenary Session will feature speeches given by delegates who will be personally introduced by a Counsellor. After this, the Counsellors invite the audience to play an active part in the session, taking microphones amongst the delegation.
Unlike traditional conferences the themes and topics discussed in these sessions are decided by the delegates themselves through our annual consultation process. After the first round of this consultation process the 2015 Plenary Session topics have been identified as:
- Global Business
- Human Rights
- Leadership & Government
- Peace & Security
