Bonita co-founded SOCHAI, a youth-led initiative focused on improving health and nutrition for vulnerable people through education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. SOCHAI creates and implements educational programmes for different groups, like health workers, mothers' groups, adolescent girls and school children. Additionally, it has incorporated social entrepreneurship into its model by involving local artisans and women in making and selling Nutribead and Redcycle Bracelets, low-tech wearable education tools. Bonita was selected as a Lead2030 Challenge winner and continues to partner with her challenge sponsor Reckitt to grow SOCHAI's social impact.
