Please join One Young World Ambassadors Ben Griffiths and Lewis Smith and other members of the UK Youth Health Parliament for the presentation of their policy recommendations at the House of Commons this December.

The UK Youth Health Parliament is an idea generating platform for individuals passionate about healthcare to connect, discuss and recommend innovative solutions to healthcare challenges of the future. Fifty young professionals from public and private sectors have been focusing on current and future healthcare challenges. At the conclusion of the parliament they will publish a series of papers with policy recommendations, which will be shared externally through traditional and social media channels.

The parliament is a joint initiative of partners with a cross sector interest in the healthcare system, including Johnson & Johnson, the British Heart Foundation, Imperial College, London Business School, Google & 2020Health amongst others. The partners have provided logistic and editorial support as requested by the participants.

The five work streams are focusing on:
• Personalised Medicine and Genomics
• Preparing The Clinicians of The Future
• What Kind of Healthcare System Do You Want
• Innovation & the NHS – What’s the Hold Up?
• The Mental Wealth Initiative

The presentation of these five recommendations will take place on 15th December at 19:30 in the Churchill Room of the House of Commons, Westminster. There will be an opportunity to network afterwards with members from the Youth Health Parliament at a drinks reception.
