About WIRED

WIRED is one of the leading sources of information and ideas that make sense of a world in constant transformation. WIRED illuminates how technology is changing every aspect of our lives—from culture to business, science to design.  The outlet reaches more than 30 million people each month through WIRED.com, their digital edition, the magazine, social media, and live events.

At WIRED2014 last year 12 inaugural WIRED Innovation Fellows were welcomed to the stage. Each gave a talk describing their significant impact on the world in their respected fields. WIRED will continue this celebration of forward-thinking innovators by expanding the 2015 WIRED Innovation Fellowship programme to 14 Fellows.

What are the WIRED Innovation Fellowships?

Inspired by successful fellows' programmes WIRED are leveraging their network and resources to promote the work of emerging talents. In 2015, there will be 14 WIRED Innovation Fellows, who will gain free and full access to all WIRED events; the opportunity to speak on their conference stages and network with other Innovation Fellows and conference speakers; coverage in digital and print publications; and further support and mentorship that WIRED and their partners can offer. As well as speaking at WIRED's annual flagship event, Fellows will also have the opportunity to attend other events, such as WIRED Health on April 2015 and WIRED Money on July 2015. Further events will be announced soon.

Who can apply for a WIRED Innovation Fellowship?

The WIRED Innovation Fellowships are open to any individual working in fields normally covered by WIRED who, in the editorial team's opinion, has the potential to make a significant impact on the world. They are looking for emerging innovators in science, technology, design, culture, business, the arts -- and other fields covered by the magazine -- who have a fresh and energetic approach and a proven track record of early success. WIRED Innovation Fellowships will be awarded at the sole discretion of the WIRED editor, in consultation with the wider editorial team.
