#Youth4Change Event | 16 October | The Hague

For this year's One Young World Summit 2018 in The Hague, The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided 50 scholarships for young leaders from the Mena region, the Sahel and the horn of Africa. 

Orange Corners, an initiative of The Netherlands, was created to promote youth development and entrepeneurship in Africa and the Middle East.  Orange Corners have selected 20 of the Dutch MFA Scholars to participate in a two-day programme prior to the summit. Their aim? To empower young leaders and entrepreneurs across Africa and the Middle East, and to bring them into contact with likeminded people.

What is it?

An interactive panel discussion, which will give you the opportunity to hear from these young leaders and meet other delegates ahead of the Summit. The panel will consist of:

  • Hans Docter, Director for Sustainable Economic Development at Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Diipa Khosla, Social Media Influencer
  • Beatrice Maneshi, Founder Catalystas *tbc
  • One Young World Ambassadors from the Mena/Sahel/Horn of Africa
  • One Young World Ambassadors from The Netherlands
