Alexander Lange

Alex is a Delegate Speaker for the 2015 Human Rights Plenary Session. As a local volunteer in Cologne, Germany, he has seen refugees arriving after a week long journey. He has helped with sorting donations and has talked to refugees in the camps and at events. He is actively engaged in the local refugee integration initiatives and tries to provide them with digital solutions that help them in their work. He co-founded the non-profit organisation “Overboarders”, which collects and connects refugee initiatives so that they can work more efficiently. By founding a start-up, he has gained experience about innovation during the process. Today, he uses this knowledge to create new Telefonica products in the market. Alex was the National Head of the biggest marketing student organisation in Germany and is passionate about inspiring young academics to find and embrace their interests and passions.
