Maarten Edixhoven joined Aegon in 2014, and is currently CEO at Aegon The Netherlands. Prior to joining Aegon, he was CEO at Zwitserleven and before that he had several managerial roles within ING Group and Nationale Nederlanden. He started his career at ING Czech Republic as a Marketing Director in 1994. His other responsibilities include board memberships at The Dutch Challenge (a social impact initiative), the VUmc Alzheimercentrum and Verbond van Verzekeraars.
He is married and lives with his wife and three children in Amsterdam.
