Keithlin Caroo

Founder & Executive Director, Helen's Daughters

Keithlin was born and raised in a farming community in the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. While her academic background lies in the fields of International Relations and Political Science with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras and a Master’s of Science from Central Connecticut State University. Keithlin has always had an avid fascination with developmental studies and more so rural development. Ms. Caroo is a former employee of the United Nations and is currently the Founder and Executive Director of Helen’s Daughters, a non-profit with a special focus on rural women’s economic development that provides improved market access, adaptive agricultural techniques and capacity-development. She is a One Young World Ambassador.
