Coordinating Ambassadors

One Young World Summits are fantastic, inspiring events but it is afterwards that the hard work really begins. At the end of each Summit every delegate becomes a One Young World Ambassador, joining a global network of more than 6,000 impactful young people.

Between Summits, we make huge efforts to follow Ambassador initiatives, promote their stories and connect them with each other. But One Young World HQ can’t do this alone!

It is vital to follow what Ambassadors all round the world are doing in their countries, communities or businesses. To make this more effective, Coordinating Ambassadors from different geographical regions will be elected to take the lead on reporting on the amazing work that happens in between Summits.

What will Coordinating Ambassadors do?

The Coordinating Ambassadors will be the eyes and ears of One Young World. The role varies from creating connections between people in the Ambassador community to helping measure the impact of their incredible initiatives. Whatever you work on as a Coordinating Ambassador you will have the opportunity to engage with inspiring people all year round.

A full description of the role will be released shortly after the Summit.

How can I become a Coordinating Ambassador?

Applications to become a Coordinating Ambassadors will open shortly after the Summit. The top applicants from each region will be shortlisted. It will then fall on the Ambassador community to make the final decision and elect the Coordinating Ambassador for their region. We will be in touch with all of you shortly after the Summit to notify you when applications are open.
